Internet
A means of connecting a computer to any other computer anywhere in the world via dedicated router and servers. When two computer are connected over the Internet, they can send and receive all kind of information such as text, graphics voice, video and computer programs. The internet grew out of the Advanced Research Projects Agency's Wide Area Network (then called ARPANET) established by the USDiscipline
Discipline means obedience to a superior authority. Accepting the norms of the family, society, the commands of elders and obeying them is also discipline. Discipline means accepting punishments for violation. Discipline also means training of mind and character, developing self-control and the habit of obedience. In other word we can also say it is a lesson that we can learn from the way the universe runs. Nature herself presents before us this valuable lesson. Discipline enables us to think maturely, act maturely and to take decisions responsibly. It makes us self-propelled, self- controlled and self-guiding persons. It makes us responsible persons and principled individuals. Discipline is one of the essential qualities required for social living. Without it, life in society becomes chaotic and miserable. Without discipline there can be no law and order. Without discipline society becomes a devil’s paradise, where, ‘might determines what is right’ and power and riches determine who is right and who is not.Discipline is the key-note of the worldly order.Discipline should be maintained in every walk of life. At home elders are to observe discipline. They cannot rear up good children, if there is no discipline. A house, where there is no discipline, is just like a hell. So discipline should be enforced on children at home. They should be made to feel that discipline is a blessing and indiscipline is a curse, that the one leads to and prosperity whereas the other leads to unhappiness and disgrace. The home, infect is the first place to teach the value of discipline. Discipline works everywhere. It controls or physical movements and activities; it controls our morals and even or religion. There is no sphere in heaven and earth where discipline does not dominate
Technology
Technology is a broad concept that deals with the knowledge of tools and crafts, and how it affects the ability to control and adapt to the environment. According to the history the word technology comes forms the Greek word "Technikos" meaning "of art", skillful, practical" The portion of the word "ology" indicates "knowledge of" or a "systematic treatment of". In human society, it is consequence of science and engineering, although several technological advances predate the two concepts. The recent technological developments, including the printing press, the telephones and the internet has lessened physical berries to communication and allowed human to interact on a global scale. However, not all technology has been used for peaceful purpose, the development or weapon of ever-increasing destructive power has progressed throughout history, from clubs to nuclear weapons.
Technology depends on a base in the natural word (Science) but extend the natural world through the phenomenon of manipulation (Engineering).Technology is the system consisting of the technological process, technology objects, technology knowledge, developers of technological objects, users of technological objects, and the worldview (i.e. the beliefs about the things and the value of things that shape how one views the world) that has emerged from and drives the technological process.

Ethnocentrism
Ethnocentrism is the tendency to look at the world primarily from the perspective
of one's own culture. Ethnocentrism often entails the belief that one's own
race or ethnic group is the most important and/or that some or all aspects of
its culture are superior to those of other groups. Within this ideology,
individuals will judge other groups in relation to their own particular ethnic
group or culture, especially with concern to language, behaviour, customs, and
religion. These ethnic distinctions and sub-divisions serve to define each
ethnicity's unique cultural identity.
Ethnocentrism leads us to make false assumptions about cultural differences. We are ethnocentric when we use our cultural norms to make generalizations about other peoples' cultures and customs. Such generalizations -- often made without a conscious awareness that we've used our culture as a universal yardstick -- can be way off base and cause us to misjudge other peoples. Ethnocentrism also distorts communication between human beings.
Ethnocentric thinking causes us to make wrong assumptions about other people because . . .
Ethnocentrism leads us to make premature judgments.
"They" may not be very good at what we are best at.
By evaluating "them" by what we are best at, we miss the many other aspects of life that they often handle more competently than we do.
Some very simple examples of ethnocentric thinking. . .
We often talk about British drivers driving "on the wrong side" of the road. Why not just say "opposite side" or even "left hand side"?
We talk about written Hebrew as reading "backward." Why not just say "from right to left" or "in the opposite direction from English."
We encourage SNU students going on short-term missions to use the phrase "Oh, that's different" rather than more pejorative terms when encountering strange customs or foods
